 It might not seem very glamorous to some, just shuffling words around on a page, adding some, and taking some out. Not sure why I love it so much, though. Perhaps because it often works like a puzzle. If words are placed in just the right spot, in just the right order, a beautiful picture emerges. A story or a plan is revealed. A heart shines through, and communication flows outward. It is for this reason that Writers Block has become a blessing to me as I work to help other missionaries improve their communications and present the honest, beautiful stories that God is weaving all around them.
It is truly a joy to help and support those serving in the mission field with their text editing, written communication, and graphic design needs. Having served as a missionary in Europe for seven years, I understand the value of help and support of all kinds. Through WRITERS BLOCK, we are currently working with missionaries in three different countries with a variety of projects – from monthly updates to prayer cards to website design. There are so many stories of what God is doing that need to be shared as an encouragement to other believers, and as a testament to God’s faithfulness and love. We are seeking to connect with others who are serving around the world, as well as small mission agencies here in the US, to see if we could serve them in this way as well.
