SIMPLE GIFTS
Have you ever felt the encouragement of a kind word, a heartfelt hug, a note of appreciation, or a thoughtful gift? These are all simple things, and simple things can truly carry a lot of weight. We have yet to meet anyone who did not benefit from a little encouragement.
Simple Gifts exists to encourage the encouragers — those working and serving in our communities in sacrificial ways. Simple Gifts are created from handmade paper containers, which are beautifully decorated (by the season or event) and filled with a little sweet treat. Simple, really, but the encouragement given and the thought behind each gift can be felt and remembered for a long time. It is always a joy to support those who serve others! HOW YOU CAN HELP
We would love your help in this effort to share simple encouragement with individuals in our communities! Every gift can make a real difference! You can:
- join a scheduled “project party” to create gifts together with others
- help cut / fold / stuff / decorate the standard container designs we currently use and ready them for giving (individually or with a group of your friends)
- donate funds for the purchase of paper / treats / tools for these gifts
- recommend a serving group or individual who would benefit from Simple Gifts encouragement
