One beauty of art is its space for creativity and expression. We find it can also provide purpose.
Artworks consists of volunteers who create card making kits for the residents of assisted living and senior living facilities. After the residents make the cards, they can then send them out to their families and others.
Ideally, cards are created and assembled in a community setting, in fellowship with other residents. As it can often be difficult for residents to get out and shop for cards, this activity will also enable them to have something beautiful to send as a special greeting to a friend or loved one.
Art works! It's beneficial to the maker, and a gift to any receiver. We're excited to present this project on our Idea Catalog to share that creativity!
